PROTECTING YOUR RIGHTS SINCE 1993

STUCK AWAITING TRIAL?

Do you have a friend or family member who is stuck in jail on a prohibitively high bond?

Even though you're presumed to be innocent until proven guilty, many times the court may initially set a bail which is unreasonably high, or hasn't taken into account certain factors which should have been examined.

Your loved one IS NOT simply stuck in jail if this happens, however - in many cases we are able to get a different court to LOWER THE BAIL AMOUNT, or release our client on nonmonetary bond (i.e., with no payment required).

If your friend or family member is facing this situation, please let us know - we will be happy to do everything we can to to prevent your loved one from needlessly spending time behind bars!

DETAINED OR FACING A PROBATION VIOLATION HEARING?

When someone is on probation and gets accused of violating their probation or committing another offense, they are often subject to being detained in jail while awaiting a violation hearing.  Unfortunately, this often results in months (sometimes even years) of wasted time.

Often times, however, we are able to petiton the court to lift the detainer entirely or, alternatively, to transfer the detainer either to an alternative housing facility, rehabiliation clinic, or house arrest pending the outcome of their violation accusation.

Additionally, we provide full-service representation for probation violation hearings themselves and we always seek to minimize any punishment which the court may apply.
